Reduce excess crap in your pantry

The Plan

Every so often I realize that I've been spending too much. As a result I take a month (although the first time was 40 days) and 'fast' on spending. It's not easy, but it's quite helpful in many ways. Each time I've done this I have actually made between 50 and 200 dollars. Combine that with the money I didn't spend, and the fact that I reformed my spending, it can have a big impact financially.

Day 9: Dynomite!

I was in a bit of a daze today but when I look back, I sure did get a lot done. Amazing what a Monday fog can hide. For lunch I went to get pizza with Aaron at PK's. They have this $8 pizza that serves about 4 people. So we got that plus leftovers. For much of the afternoon I was in a meeting. It went pretty well but was very long. Afterward the people that were meeting with us offered to take us out to dinner. I was the only one able to go so I suggested Sake House. Good time of course.

When I got home I went out to the mailbox and found (dun dun dun) a check for the medical reimbursement thing came in! Woo. Between that, the sushi, leftovers and some change that I found on the floor. Quite a big boost!
