The PlanEvery so often I realize that I've been spending too much. As a result I take a month (although the first time was 40 days) and 'fast' on spending. It's not easy, but it's quite helpful in many ways. Each time I've done this I have actually made between 50 and 200 dollars. Combine that with the money I didn't spend, and the fact that I reformed my spending, it can have a big impact financially.

Day 10: Savings plight
Yogurt, leftover pizza and an apple was my food while at work today. I also noticed that there was some change in my laptop bag ($.94) so I added that to the pile. During lunch I added the little graph thing at the bottom of this page and thoguht I would count up the money. Ugh.. Somehow I am short of what I thought I had. This is one of the resons why I don't like cash. I lose it. Something around 5 bucks seems to be short in my little pile of bills. What a drag. maybe it will be at home in another pair of pants or maybe stuck in the couch. So I'll have to put that in the loss column.
After work I did some grocery shopping which was somewhat unnecessary but I needed yogurt at least. I hate spending on anything when I know I have things at home to eat but it's really hard for me to resist when I have a bunch of cash on me. There were some nice flowering plants that I had for outdoors in the summer so I am giving them a try inside. Hopefully I'll be able to protect them from the Liza. I also bought things to make sloppy joes and had some leftover mac and cheese with them. Now I'm sleepy and going to bed once my stomach stops grumbling over the sloppy joes.
