The Plan

Every so often I realize that I've been spending too much. As a result I take a month (although the first time was 40 days) and 'fast' on spending. It's not easy, but it's quite helpful in many ways. Each time I've done this I have actually made between 50 and 200 dollars. Combine that with the money I didn't spend, and the fact that I reformed my spending, it can have a big impact financially.

Day 15: Avoiding daylight

Late start today, Anna and I finished watching Up and then went to get Bertucci's for lunch. The pizza was much bigger than we expected so there were leftovers for each of us. We went to see "The Men Who Stare at Goats" too. It was strange. Not sure what I thought of it. Anna picked up the check for both events which was definitely appreciated. Instead of getting right out on the road I decided to wait for the sun to go down. It's such a pain to drive west when the sun is in your face. The drive went well and I talked to a few people a long the way. I was rather tired early on though so I found a Burger King and bought myself a couple of $1 double 1/4 lb cheeseburgers and a Dr Pepper for all of 3.77. Gas was picked up at the same exit for $20. Liza and I were happy to see one another, even though I spent a half hour washing the floor where she deposited hairballs. sigh...
