The PlanEvery so often I realize that I've been spending too much. As a result I take a month (although the first time was 40 days) and 'fast' on spending. It's not easy, but it's quite helpful in many ways. Each time I've done this I have actually made between 50 and 200 dollars. Combine that with the money I didn't spend, and the fact that I reformed my spending, it can have a big impact financially.

Day 3: Out with Aaron for a bite
I walked to work and did my usual yogurt for breakfast. I brought in ramen noodles, cheese and an apple for lunch but Aaron was really dying to go to Roma's so we did that. He'd owed me for numerous Au Bon Pain muffins and such.
After work we did a movie outside. Instead of having to rent Office Space, Dan loaned me his copy. He also brought by a computer I can play with.
John and Aaron came over for the movie and brought hamburger buns, hotdog buns and 4 tomatoes. We decided it was too cold to grill out so we stuck to brats for dinner. The tomatoes and extra buns stayed at the house in exchange for the brats. Matt, Jackie and Benjamin came for the movie as well. It was a little cold but still a lot of fun. I gave the movie to Jackie afterward so he could get it to Dan the next day.
