The PlanEvery so often I realize that I've been spending too much. As a result I take a month (although the first time was 40 days) and 'fast' on spending. It's not easy, but it's quite helpful in many ways. Each time I've done this I have actually made between 50 and 200 dollars. Combine that with the money I didn't spend, and the fact that I reformed my spending, it can have a big impact financially.

Day 4: Starr bright
Today was pretty basic. I once again walked to work. While at work I had yogurt for breakfast, string cheese for a snack, ramen noodles for lunch. Since I had lunch at my desk I started making this webpage. I also went on to my Discover credit card site and requested a $25 gift card to the movies and $50 cash back. That will be nice when they get here!
After work I went up to visit Starr. She is moving to a new house soon so I helped her pack up 6 boxes of clothes and 2 boxes for Goodwill. For dinner we cleared out some of her fridge and made a chicken stirfry. Afterward we watched a movie and looked at pictures of Irish wolfhounds and toygers online. I burned up a little gas but not too bad.
