Caulk the Caulk - 12/3/07
| Two Christmases back my parents got me a subscription to Handyman Magazine. It has a lot of good tips and projects. Unfortunately they seem to be about a step or two behind me. Rather frustrating at times but I think that this month they hit the nail on the head. The issue had several tips for keeping the heat in the house. One of them was 'removable weather stripping'. Essentially it's like caulk, but it's removable.. actually it's just like rubber cement. Jul and I put it on, filling the gaps and tada.. no draft. In the spring, I'll just peel it right off! Very cool ... or rather.. very warm... ( hee hee ) |
