I went back into the garden and dug out more of the bushes, thorns and big weeds. With some of the weeks sizing up like this one (left) it's not surprising that I thought this one on the right was a weed's root too. Though this 15 foot root was was from the tree behind Jul. |  |

A few days later Jonathan and I picked up the tiller from Bryan. While he tilled the garden, Taikara and Jul cleared out the growth that was pulled up. I went back to my month long chore of spreading the truck load of mulch that has been sitting in the back of the driveway. |  |
