    It's about time - 3/12/05

    Once upon a time, Jul said "we should really put that board in". Of course I never did. UNTIL NOW!! There is some trim around the railing of the staircase. The boards on the sides were there, but the other was missing. I have noticed for a while now that the board on the right needed to be pulled off and slid up a bit. So that was step one. The right board came off easily, but a few nails gave me some trouble. After measuring things a bit, I dug around in the shop and found a board that would work for the most part. I ripped it down to size and went nailed both boards back into place. Easy as pie. A long wooden pie. Some day I might paint it.
